Kanjeng Jimat Complex


The historic mosque situated in Berbek District approximately 8 km to the south of Nganjuk Town. Was founded in 1745 by KRT Sosro Koesoemo or Kanjeng Jimat, The first Regent Berbek. Some historic ornaments include: pulpit carved from teak wood made in 1758, the drum in 1759, the fibers roof mosque in 1760 that eventually replaced the shingle. On the front, there is a yoni which now functioned as a place to see and determine of the prayer time. In the mosque area there is an ancient Kanjeng Jimat complex graveyard were always crowded of pilgrim on Legi Friday night.
