Pantai Wedi Ireng
Pantai Wedi Ireng merupakan salah satu Pantai cantik yang ada di Desa Sumberagung, Kecamatan Pesanggaran. Jaraknya hanya sekitar tiga kilometer dari Pulau Merah atau sekitar 65 kilometer sebelah selatan pusat kota Banyuwangi. Lokasinya yang tersembunyi menjadikan pantai ini belum banyak dirambah wisatawan. Artinya, pantai ini masih benar-benar alami.
Dibanding dengan pantai Pulau Merah, pantai Wedi Ireng kalah populer meskipun berada dalam satu jalur. Hal ini karena lokasinya sulit terjangkau. Padahal keindahan pantainya tidak kalah oleh Teluk Hijau dan pantai lainnya di Banyuwangi.
Pantai Wedi Ireng memiliki garis pantai yang lebih panjang. Pantai ini masih sangat asri dan alami dengan air laut yang berwarna biru dan cukup jernih. Bibir Pantainya dikelilingi pepohonan hijau yang memberikan suasana teduh. Pasir Pantainya tersusun dari pasir berwarna putih dan hitam yang menjadi satu. Deretan karang di tepi Pantai semakin menambah pesonanya. Di salah satu sisi Pantainya terdapat sebuah batu berukuran sangat besar yang menjadi landmark Pantai Wedi Ireng ini.
Keunikan lainnya dari pantai ini terletak pada beberapa elemen yang membentuknya, yaitu pasir halus putih, pasir coklat yang agka kasar dan hamparan batu karang yang menambah eksotisnya pantai Wedi Ireng. Para wisatawan bisa bermain air, berenang ataupun memancing. Selain itu di Pantai ini juga mempunyai beberapa spot terbaik untuk menikmati panorama sunrise maupun sunset.
Akses menuju ke lokasi memang tidak mudah. Bisa ditempuh dengan menggunakan kendaraan pribadi dan dilanjutkan dengan berjalan kaki dengan waktu tempuh 3 â 4 jam dari Kota Banyuwangi. Atau dengan menggunakan kapal nelayan dari Pulau Merah dengan waktu tempuh sekitar 15 menit.
