Bukit Jamur
Bukit Jamur terletak di atas sebuah bekas tambang batu kapur di Desa Bungah, Kecamatan Bungah, Gresik. Bukit Jamur adalah fenomena alam yang terjadi karena batuan terkikis oleh angin dan air hujan kemudian menyebabkan batu tampak seperti jamur. Batu jamur biasanya terbentuk di daerah kering. Proses yang disebabkan oleh angin atau disebut sebagai proses Aeolian. Angin membawa bahan pasir kecil kemudian mengikis batu yang lebih besar, proses ini disebut sebagai Deflasi.
Bukit Jamur dibagi menjadi bagian atas dan bawah. Bahan batu yang terletak di bagian atas lebih keras daripada bagian bawah, karena bahan di bawah batu lebih mudah terkikis oleh angin atau hujan. Sehingga menghasilkan sebuah tiang tegak seperti batang jamur. Bukit Jamur biasanya terbentuk di daerah kering seperti daerah gurun. Bukit Jamur juga dapat terjadi di wilayah pesisir, tetapi formasi ini tidak disebabkan oleh angin tetapi karena ombak atau yang biasa disebut sebagai proses Marin.
Ada sekitar 40 Bukit Jamur di sekitar 3 hektar area, dari ratusan hektar lahan yang ditambang. Tinggi batuan jamur ini bervariasi, dari tinggi 2 meter hingga sekitar 7 meter. Bentuk yang unik membuat jamur batu ini menjadi tempat yang menarik, terutama untuk keperluan fotografi. Masyarakat dapat menikmatinya secara gratis. Jumlah pengunjung yang datang menunjukkan bahwa daerah Bukit Jamur adalah fenomena bukit batu yang mempesona. Saat ini Bukit Jamur menjadi salah satu ikon wisata di Gresik. Sekitar 400 meter dari lokasi, ada banyak toko-toko khusus souvenir terkait dengan Bukit Jamur.
