Ijen Crater is the biggest crater lake in Java. The sulfur crater lake lies between a natural dams of deeply etched rock. It is 200 meters deep and contains about 36million cubic meters of steaming acid water, shrouded in a smelling swirling sulfur cloud. Inside the crater the different color and size of stones are found. Indeed the crater of Ijen is beautiful garden of stone as well.

LEATHER PUPPETS CELEBRATION

Location: Pendopo Delta Wibawa, Jl. Cokronegoro 1, Sidoarjo

This leather puppet performance was held in commemoration of the 161st Anniversary of Sidoarjo Regency. Before the performance began, usually preceded by traditional Sidoarjo dance and tumpeng dish by the Regent of Sidoarjo. The audience is not only from Sidoarjo people, but also come from outside the region. It is hoped that this shadow puppet cultural event can preserve Javanese art and culture and understand about the values of the culture.
