Ritual Dan Tradisi Kota Blitar
Grebeg Pancasila
Grebeg Pancasila adalah suatu upacara hari lahirnya Pancasila pada tanggal 1 Juni yang didesain sebagai peristiwa budaya. Upacara ini berbeda dengan upacara lainnya. Ritus upacara ini berisi 3 (tiga) mata acara pokok yaitu:
- Upacara Budaya
- Kirap Gunungan Limo
- Kenduri
Upacara ini selalu diadakan sekali dalam setahun di kabupaten Blitar. Hal ini ditujukan untuk mengenang proses pembuatan Pancasila yang menjadi landasan hukum Indonesia. Upacara ini juga diikuti oleh semua masyarakat Blitar dan sering dihadiri oleh pejabat-pejabat Indonesia.
Gong Kyai Pradah (Upacara Pencucian Pusaka)
Upacara tradisional Blitar yang lain yang selalu diadakan adalah upacara pencucian pusaka yaitu Gong Kyai Pradah. Upacara tradisional ini diikuti oleh hampir seluruh masyarakat Blitar. Upacara pencucian Gong Kyai Pradah adalah upacara tradisional yang dilaksanakan secara turun temurun dari generasi ke generasi di oleh masyarakat di wilayah Blitar. Selain itu, hal ini dimaksudkan untuk mengembangkan budaya tradisional. Hal ini juga dimaksudkan untuk memberi berkah bagi siapa saja yang membawa atau dimandikan dengan air yang digunakan untuk pencucian Gong, yang merupakan salah satu alat musik tradisional Jawa.

Serang Beach Serang beach is located in Serang village, Panggungrejo sub-district, it ‘s about 40 Km from Blitar city. This beach is stunningly beautiful. The sea water has turquoise color and strong waves, typical of Indonesian south sea. Moreover, the greenish nuance is also can be found around the hill in the next side of the beach. Tambakrejo Beach is located about 30 km from Blitar city, in Tambakrejo village, Wonotirto district.
