Siwalan is one of palm trees that grows in some tropical area. In Indonesia, there are some regencies which populated by Siwalan fruit, like Tuban, lamongan Gresik, Pasuruan, Situbondo.

The exist ency of Siwalan fruit on Tuban is like the icon for this regency. For further information, Tuban is sometimes being called as Kota Tuak or Tuak City. Tuak is a fermented by the juice of siwalan, the local inhabitant take tuak on some proper occasions to be present of. Tuak is like traditional beverage on Tuban and it is being part of culture.

Along the road between Pakah Tuban and there are lots of stalls-row which is selling various products Siwalan, such as the Fruit Siwalan wrapped on plastic, Legen or palm wine is packed in bottles, even on jerry cans of about 5 liters.
