Batik is an Indonesian traditional clothes, which popular since the ancient time of Javanese people made it. Hence, the particular mode, design, art and history from each regions are different with other regions. That is why Tulungagung has the term for their Batik clothes. Batik which came from East Java commonly has bright colors than Batik from Mid Java. Those particular colors taken from different region make each of them become an identity for the area.

Popoh Beach
Popoh beach is the interesting tourism object in Tulungagung regency. In this tourism object, you can enjoy the beautiful of nature scenery, astonished with a thousand temples; enjoy the swimming pool, and fauna. This tourism object has managed by the region government of Tulungagung, together with Retjo Pentoeng Cigarettes Company.
In this Popoh Beach is also equipped with lodges facility, fish market, marine tourism, and a few places for fishing. The communities around always held a traditional ceremony called ì Labuh Semboyoî by wash away sacrifice of two goatís head to the sea for the ìrulerî of south sea (Indonesia Ocean). That ceremony is aimed to get a lot of fish from south sea.
There is onyx handicraft place as Tulungagung souvenirs and located along the road way to Popoh, Boyolangu, Campurdarat, Besuki. We can reach it by motorboat to walk around Sidem Beach, Klatak, Gemah and Bayeman. Popoh Beach is presents tourism a lot and has playground for the kids, smooth spoon beach, quay wall, sea fish market, seafood, etc. The other tourism facilities of Popoh beach is lodges for the visitors who want to stay here for a while and enjoy Popoh beach longer. The place of fishermen is at east side and stick out to sea. If we lucky, we can see the fishermen get their fish from sea and sell it with affordable price.

Wonorejo Dam
Wonorejo Dam is a dam located in Wonorejo village, Pagerwojo district, Tulungagung regency, East Java province, Indonesia. It is about 12 km of the center of the city. With about 122 million meters cubic capacity, Wonorejo dam become one of biggest dam in Indonesia, even South-East Asian.
Wonorejo dam is declared in 2001 by Indonesia President, Megawati Soekarnoputri, after built almost 9 years since 1992. Wonorejo dam has function as the power of electricity and source of drink water in East Java province. This dam is also functioned to avoid flood in Tulungagung, together with Neyama Dam in Besuki district.
Now on, Wonorejo dam is also functioned as one of tourism object in Tulungagung, beside Popoh Beach. Some facilities are built around Wonorejo Dam, one of them is Swah-Loh Resort.
Beside functioned as PLTA and as irrigation, Wonorejo Dam is also introduced as tourism object that presents comfortable and recreation facilities. In its concept, Wonorejo Dam is aimed to supply clean water in Tulungagung area and also as irrigation facility in Pagerwojo area.
As one of tourism object in Tulungagung, Wonorejo Dam is equipped with canoe, camping area, helicopter lines, fishing and standart circuits for Motocross event and off road.
With about 15 km from the center of the town, Wonorejo Dam is easy to reach. Beside that, the visitors will enjoy their journey to Wonorejo Dam, because it has beautiful scenery and completed with resort and villa with high quality. Its hill nature is fresh with cool valley and clean air, very comfortable and natural in tropic area. Wonorejo dam is using foundry concept in a hill and has artistic value for the visitors. This tourism object is also has clean environment that make the visitors will keep up for a long time.
Many events are held here, both in region and national level. The annually events are; national paper kite competition, motocross and 4WD OFFROAD competition, bow and narrow competition, etc.

Gili Ketapang
Gili Ketapang is an island that is North Sea of Probolinggo. It has beautiful scenery and there are many sands in the east and south of this, unpolluted and bluish. There are many kinds of colorful corals. It is about 5 miles from Ujung Tembaga port and takes 30 minutes by boat. The population is 7.600, the most of them are Madurese and almost 90% are fishermen.
Beside its scenery, there is also “Goa Kucing”. According to historical, this is the rest place of Syech Ishaq, a person who spread Islam from Blambangan, Banyuwangi. At that time, there are thousands cats, but finally the cats are gone everywhere. Up to know, on Friday “Legi”, the sound of those cats is heard from the dark cave and it will lose when we are trying to find it.
The other unique of this island is people believe that this island have a mysterious power, which can move to the middle of sea. According to them, when Semeru Mountain had exploded, there was an earthquake and the land of Ketapang village had separated to middle of sea about 5 miles from Probolinggo. Because of that, people call this island “Gili Ketapang”. Gili comes from Madura language, which means, “Flow” and “Ketapang” is the name of the village.

Taman Safari II
Taman Safari tourism object is located at Jatiarjo village Prigen distric. This natural preserve is the branch of Cisarua – Bogor natural preserve. As the natural wild life, preserve Taman Safari Indonesia collects various wild animals. This wildlife preserve is 295 hectares, the wild animal such as : lion tiger, wild buffalo, komodo, rhinaceros, bison that live in open area. Lies at the slope of Mt. Arjuno 800 – 1.500-meter sea level cover 340 ha and divided three zones. Wild life zone, place for visitor observing a natural wild life.

Selecta is one of interesting tourism object in Batu that crowded by many visitors. It is located in Tulungrejo village, Bumiaji district, about 13 km from the city. Kidal Temple
Kidal temple is located in Rejo Kidal village, Tumpang district, about 24 km away to the East from Malang city. The Real height of the temple is 17 meters, but now it’s just 12,4 meters. Kidal temple is one of Malang’s historical temple that save history value. The temple base has a shape square. The door is one in west side. Above the door of the temple, there are “Kepala Kala” (Head of Giants) and lions. The temple was decorated using ornaments, which depict Mahabharata story not in sequence.
Visit this historical temple in Malang regency and watch its unique form that become the interesting point of Kidal temple.

Sumberawan Temple
Sumberawan Temple that located in the foothills of Mt Arjuna to the north east of Malang, is one of a Buddhist statue in East Java. Dating from about the end of 14th century or beginning of 15th century, this site has been identified with Kasurangganan, or ‘the garden of the heavenly nymphs’, which is mentioned in the Nagarakertagama as having been visited by King Hayam Wuruk of Majapahit in 1359.
Sumberawan temple is located about 1 kilometer of Singhasari temple gateway, which in Hindu style. To reach Sumberawan temple, the visitors should walk on a path between rice field and river through 500 meters of roadway of Sumberawan village. It surrounded by nature panorama and has natural water source. It said that the water of Sumberawan pool has great energy for health. Some visitors always take a bath in this pool. They don’t want to pass it.
The temple is in Buddhist style and formed a statue without any accessories. Temple’s body is rectangular and contain of two parts. The temple is one of beautiful temple in East Java, because of its location. Every ‘Waisak’ (Buddha Holiday), Sumberawan Temple is visited by many Buddhist to celebrate the life of the Buddha. They usually come in the evening and having meditation.

Wendit Swimming Pool
As an interesting natural swimming pool, Wendit Swimming Pool present a special recreational spots in order to regain the new spirit and there is also the friendly monkeys that entertain and give special attraction to the visitors with their jocking action.
According to the local folk tale, the pool offer mystical power to those who have taken a bath in the pool would remain young for the rest of their life. On the days Idul fitri, the Islamic days (seven days Lebaran) some traditional performances are staged here.
The pool is located at Mangliawan village, a village belonging to Pakis Sub District, about 10 km a way to the East from Malang.
Facilities: pool using natural water spring water that never dies in all season (dry or wet season), souvenir shops, and some recreational spots in Wendit’s area. Soekarno’s Grave
One of the tourist attractions in Blitar municipality is the tomb of Soekarno, an Indonesian proclamation reader and the first President of the Republic of Indonesia. It is located at 60 Slamet Riyadi Street, Bendogerit village, Sunan wetan district, about 2 kilometers from Blitar city.
The architectural "Joglo" dominates the tomb. It is in East Javanese style and combined with Gateway of Bentar. Beside the main building formed cover grave house of ‘Bung Karno’, this graveyard complx also completed with support building that is; Gapura Agung (The Great Gate), Mosque, and hall; which make the visitor feel comfortable to pilgrim in this location. There is also the complement building, consist of the grave manager house, public relax place, park area, and park. The impression is as great as the first president himself when he was still alive.
The tomb is visited by many pilgrims and opened for public. A lot of people come to visit at the time of memorial ‘Khol’ (the day of the death) of the Indonesia’s proclaim. The average of the visitors’ is amount to 150,000 per year, including both domestic and foreign visitors.
The great name of Soekarno invites the tourists to have pilgrimage tour to this graveyard. They feel astonished with the great president Soekarno, so that they pray in this graveyard to ask the benediction.
